SES Water supports World Refill Day by offering free water refill stations at summer events
SES Water is celebrating World Refill Day, the global campaign encouraging everyone to reduce plastic pollution, by encouraging people to refill their reusable bottles with tap water.
To support this, the company is providing free water refill stations at key festivals and events across the South East this Summer, helping thousands of people stay hydrated sustainably.
This year, the company has already provided water at Dorking Tens and is continuing its efforts at upcoming gatherings including:
- Cowpie Country Show – June 22 at Blue Anchor Farm, Blindley Heath
- Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show – August 24 and 25 at the Edenbridge and Oxted Showground
- Feasty Fest Music Festival – September 13 and 14 at Cheam Park, Sutton, Surrey
- Run Reigate – September 21 in Priory Park, Reigate
World Refill Day, held annually on 16 June, serves as a powerful reminder that refilling a reusable water bottle instead of buying single-use plastic bottles can help prevent tonnes of plastic waste from ending up in landfill or polluting the region’s rivers, beaches and countryside.
Alongside its refill initiatives, SES Water continues to support customers to adopt simple habits at home and outdoors that help reduce water use.
From fixing leaky taps and toilets to reusing leftover water in gardens, small everyday changes can significantly reduce demand on water supplies, especially during the warmer months.

Kristy Poulton, Events Co-ordinator at SES Water, said: “World Refill Day is a great reminder of how easy it can be for all of us to make more sustainable choices.
“We’re delighted to provide free refill stations at some of the South East’s most loved events, so we can help people to cut down on plastic waste this Summer while highlighting just how valuable our tap water really is.”
